I got a little motivated to exercise more after I did my 10k run. I thought wow I can make it through that and not feel too bad, I must not be in that bad of shape. So I decided that I need to get back into trying to run or walk at least once a day.
Today I got in a walk with the kids and dog this morning and at lunch time while baby is sleeping and daughter is at school, I got in a two mile run. I know it is not that long, but I pushed it as fast as I could stand to go without slowing. I even sped up .2 mph at the end for like a minute (teehee).
That means something right? This is like a new year's resolution before the new year, that way I will not have to try to take off the extra holiday pounds too! Ok this is my pledge, no snacking after kids go to bed, and I will try to keep in my running at least 5 times a week! Yeah Me!!
Hope that is enough! Well I am sure it will NOT be, but it is a start at least :)!
